Breast Enlargement is the standard term used for a surgery to enlarge the breasts and improve their overall shape. This surgery is also referred to as breast augmentation or augmentation mammoplasty. During breast enlargement, the Surgeon places an implant in the breast. An implant is a soft silicone shell filled with silicone gel or saline solution made of salt water.

Breast Reduction, also known as reduction mammoplasty, is a safe and effective procedure to remove excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to achieve a breast size in proportion with the body. It also helps alleviate the discomfort associated with overly large breasts such as back and shoulder pain, bra strap indentations, limitations with physical exercise, concerns in posture and many other uncomfortable daily pains.

Breast Lift may be done at the same time as a breast enlargement. This surgery can raise sagging breasts as well as the nipple and areola. For a breast lift, the Surgeon removes excess skin from the bottom of the breast and around the areola. The remaining skin is then brought together. This tightens and raises the breast.
